Internship Opportunities

  • Christmas Wish Project Internship

    This 12-week internship will assist with execution of filling 1,500 Christmas Wishes for vulnerable populations in Southeast Louisiana. You will also gain a great deal of experience and insight in data management and the importance of attention to detail in the upkeep of donor information.

  • Community Impact Internship

    By the end of this 12-week internship, you will have conducted a preliminary analysis and completed a feasibility study for the tele-behavioral health services program. You will also gain a great deal of experience and insight in market research, data management and the importance of attention to detail necessary to complete a high-level feasibility study.

  • Government & Community Relations Internship

    This 10 hours a week internship will provide you with a number of products for your professional portfolio, including completed policy briefs on a number of issues and a community environmental scan. You will have the opportunity to engage in coalition building around a specific advocacy area (mental health care) and the opportunity to learn from professional colleagues in the areas of development, communications, community outreach and government relations.

  • Resource Development Internship

    The 15-week internship provides extensive experience in managing data across two separate donor management platforms. You will also gain a great deal of experience and insight in data management and the importance of attention to detail in the upkeep of an online donor database, including but not limited to report generation, existing data cleanup, financial reconciliations, and developing and executing gift acknowledgement procedures.

  • Residential Re-Entry Center Internship

    The internship provides flexible hours. You'll provide assistance in literacy and educational programs to residents of the Residential Re-Entry Center to assist with successful, productive reintegration into society. Tasks include assisting residents with computer literacy, helping clients complete school assignments, participating in health and awareness programs and much more.
