Start dusting off your Santa hats and breaking out the gift wrap! VOA Southeast Louisiana is gearing up for our Annual Christmas Wish Project to spread some holiday cheer to those in need this season. But we can’t do it without you!
Help Bring Holiday Joy to Neighbors in Need
This holiday season, you can help make dreams come true for children, families and seniors in Southeast Louisiana through our Christmas Wish program. Each year VOA Southeast Louisiana spreads joy by providing gifts, essential items and holiday cheer to people who might otherwise go without.
Why Your Help Matters
Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana currently serves more than 26,000 individuals through our community programs. This year, over 1,000 of the people we serve will not receive a single gift for Christmas without help from caring neighbors like you. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and a reminder that their community cares.
There are many ways that you, family, friends, and colleagues can participate in Christmas Wish and help a child in need:
Sponsor
Businesses, community groups, and faith organizations can sponsor the Christmas Wish program. Sponsorship helps us reach more children, families, and seniors, and it’s a meaningful way for your team or group to give back together.
Donate
Make a financial gift to the Christmas Wish program. Your donation helps us purchase gifts and essential items such as warm clothing, toiletries, and household goods for program participants who have not yet been adopted. Every dollar goes toward bringing holiday cheer to someone in need.
Grant a Wish
Adopt one or more individuals from our programs and fulfill their personal holiday wish list. Tell us how many people you’d like to adopt, and we’ll send you their wish lists. Participants have been asked to choose reasonably priced gifts they need most, so your gift will make a real difference.
Complete the form below to be matched with one of our consumers. Once matched, you will receive three holiday wishes from your assigned consumer. Choose one or more wishes to fulfill with a gift valued at up to $40 per wish. Your generosity can help make a meaningful difference during the holiday season.
How Granting a Wish Works
- Complete the form below.
- We’ll email you their wish lists.
- Purchase, wrap, and label each gift with the recipient’s name or ID provided on the wish list.
- Deliver your wrapped gifts to our office by Thursday, December 10, 2026.
