What if your car doesn’t run? No problem. We will accept your donated vehicle and make towing arrangements at no charge.

For more than 120 years, Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana has served people facing some of our community’s most difficult challenges. Your vehicle donation helps us continue providing services that create greater stability, independence, and opportunity for children, families, veterans, seniors, and individuals in need.

When you donate a vehicle to Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, we evaluate the vehicle to determine how it can generate the greatest value to support our mission. Depending on its condition and other factors, a donated vehicle may be sold through wholesale channels or recycled.

Proceeds from vehicle donations directly support Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana programs and services throughout our community.

Can I Donate a Car That Doesn’t Run?

Yes. Your vehicle does not necessarily have to be running to be donated. We may accept vehicles in a variety of conditions and can arrange towing for accepted vehicle donations at no cost to you.

How to Donate Your Vehicle

Your vehicle will be inspected to determine its best possible use, and whether its maximum value will be gained through our wholesale or recycling channels. After you submit the form, our vehicle donation team will contact you to confirm the information, discuss the next steps, and coordinate pickup of your donated vehicle.
