Health Services Support

Support is here for you. Learn more about our Health Services.

Our Health Services Support program is designed to provide compassionate, comprehensive assistance to individuals living with HIV. We understand that navigating medical care, social services, and daily responsibilities can be overwhelming, especially for those facing financial or personal challenges. This program exists to ensure that no one has to manage these needs alone. Through both office‑based and community‑based services, we help clients access the resources necessary to maintain their health, stability, and overall well‑being.

This program is offered in partnership with the Louisiana Office of Public Health – STD/HIV Program (Region IX) and the Health Resources and Services Administration Ryan White C.A.R.E. Act. These partnerships allow us to deliver high‑quality, coordinated services that address the medical, emotional, and practical needs of people living with HIV. Our team is committed to reducing barriers to care and supporting clients in achieving long‑term health outcomes.

Service Personnel play a central role in guiding each client through the care process. They coordinate access to appropriate levels of health and support services, ensuring continuity of care across providers and programs. This includes helping clients schedule medical appointments, access medications, connect with mental‑health support, and obtain essential social services. Ongoing assessments allow staff to adapt services as needs change, ensuring that each individual receives personalized, responsive support.

These services are available exclusively to low‑income individuals residing in the Florida Parishes, including Livingston, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, and Washington Parishes. By focusing on these communities, the program helps address health disparities and ensures that residents have access to the care and support they deserve.

If you or someone you know is living with HIV and needs assistance navigating health services, our team is here to provide guidance, stability, and compassionate support every step of the way.
