Hi, my name is Scott Borne. I’m available at the New Orleans and northshore locations. With over 20 years’ experience in mental health and wellness, my expertise includes a wide range of therapeutic intervention with age ranges from early adolescence to elderly populations of diverse backgrounds. This includes: Relationships, Anxiety, Employee Mediation, Risk and Threat Assessment, (of Harm to Self or Others) Grief work, Depression, Suicide Prevention, and Crisis Response. My philosophy is holistic with a mindfulness of learning style and impactful, yet compassionate techniques. For some, taking the step to commit to counseling may have you feeling apprehensive, anxious, and uncertain. For others who have been to counseling before, you may or may not have had the experience you hoped for or expected. With every prospective client, I offer a brief phone interview to see if we would be a good fit.
